CFN Memphis TN-April 2011– I would like to make a ÒHearty ApologyÓ to the Douglass Alumni Association and to those who has supported me in community efforts. My intent was not to impose on the alumni and its meetings. I presumed my ideals and thought were in line with the DAAÕs mission and objectives.

A lengthy conversation with one of the original founders of the DAA, Mr. John Ware, who is father to Douglass High School Principal Janet Thompson, informed me that ÒALLÓ monies collected for the Douglass Alumni Association is to be used ÒONLYÓ for the School Scholarship Program.
