CFN's NDAC Memphis Chapter Election

    COMMONFOLKNEWS will NOT be issuing endorsements in the Memphis Chapter of the National Douglass Alumni Corporation, (NDAC) May 2009 Elections to be held the 2nd weekend in May 2009. Instead, we will allow candidates to have their message posted on this page outlining their intentions of what they hope to accomplish if winning their race.

Our readers would like to know the following:

1.) What are you going to bring to the Memphis Chapter that will make it better?

2.) What are you going to do differently than your predecessor?

3.) What do you feel is the single most greatest need in the Memphis Chapter and how do you plan on delivering it?

4.) What do you hope to have accomplished by the end of your term if elected?

5.) Why do you feel that you are best man/woman for the job?
(use as much space as you feel you may need to adequately respond to the above questions.)

*If you are considering a “write in” candidate please contact that person so that they too can respond and be apart of this endorsement process.

CFN will solicit from it’s team of advisors, input and opinions of whom they think would make the best candidate for the position in which they are running.

The DEADLINE for CFN to receive these responses is: 2 days prior to the election.

CFN hopes that all candidates whomever selected to represent the Memphis Chapter during it’s upcoming term seeks to be a positive influence on Douglass and it’s entire community.

Memphis may be our audience, but the World is watching.
