The CommonFolkNews™ Online Essay contest is a contest designed to give writers an opportunity to have their works published, to become apart of the CommonFolk family, and to receive a small cash prize for doing so.
Adequate disclosure of identity is required in order to process applicants that compete.
College students are encouraged to apply. Freelance writers and others are equally welcome to apply. High School students will not be excluded. Professionals must submitt the name and address of their charitable organization of choice that they wish to receive the $50 prize if their essay is chosen.
